Hovik, or as I like to call him, “Little Hovikto,” is an intense personal trainer. No matter what your fitness level is, you can be sure he will be there to motivate you and push you to your limit. I came to John to improve my strength and conditioning for my martial arts practice. I have been going to John’s Cardio KickBoxing for a month now and I am VERY satisfied with the results. I am now more fit and healthy than I have ever been. Also, John is a great nutritionist. I can't tell you how many times I've had noodle arms or noodle legs after workouts! I have been training for only 2 months now with Hovik, but the great fitness results are already visible and all my friends are extremely impressed of how great and fit I look. I started training with Hovik in the beginning of the year and I am extremely satisfied with the results so far. Although, I went to the gym regularly all I stuck to was running on the treadmill. Hovik has opened my eyes to so many techniques, exercises and fitness equipment that I've always felt too intimidated to try (but to my surprise and with his help, were not that intimidating at all). He listens to my fitness goals and designs all the workouts to accomplish them. He challenges me with each workout, and just when I think I can't do anymore reps, he challenges me to do more. He is always encouraging and great at pushing me just enough to achieve the ultimate results, but never pushing me over my limit. That's what makes him a great trainer! I needed someone to give me that extra push and that's exactly what he does. I see a huge difference in my muscle tone and strength so far, which I wasn't able to do without his expertise. I also take his cardio kickboxing class twice a week and I am addicted. The class is a good supplement to my regular exercise routine and it definitely feels good to take some stress out on a punching bag. The class is brutal, one-hour of nonstop cardio kickboxing mixing bag work (punching, kicking) with ab exercises. It's very rewarding at the end and a great full body workout. I like that each class is always different with endless possibilities of routines, so there is always something new to learn. Hovik is also knowledgeable about nutrition and always offers great nutritional advice to help keep me on the right track. I look forward to continuing my workouts with him.

I had been working out on and off with my friends since I was a teenager but I was not seeing the results that I was looking for. I decided to hire John as a personal trainer. First he put together a nutritional program breaking down my calorie/protein/carbohydrate intake. Next we started the weight training. His knowledge and expertise helped me see changes in the first 3 weeks of working out. He was exactly what I needed in a trainer. His program is tough but very effective. I needed to step up to the plate and listen and do everything he told me. I put my full trust in him and he delivered what he promised he would do. Best decision I have made. Thanks John.
I have been seriously working out for for about two years now and would consider myself pretty fit and in good shape. I do weight lifting, kickboxing and spinning 4-6 times a week, so I often feel like a workout beast.....until I met John. He makes me feel like a workout powder puff! We did all kinds of simple but effective exercises, working out everything from arms to chest to stomach to legs. There are a couple of exercise in particular that I have a love/hate relationship with (hate it while I'm doing it but love it once I get through it): 1. These mean big black ropes that look fairly easy to maneuver until you have to battle these bad boys. You wrap the rope around a post and grip the ends while performing a series of arm exercises. Sounds simple? About 20 seconds in I feel like my arms are on fire!!!! 2. A series of Muay Thai, MMA style kickboxing drills. Kicking and punching a bag for 20 long, grueling minutes. Enough said! The workout is challenging and tough as hell but its worth it. John isn't one of those "hold your hand" kind of trainers. He's tough but motivating without being mean, and the workouts are intense, yet manageable. He will push you and challenge you, but doesn't yell and make you feel like you can't do it. He will motivate you to try harder! Right about now I'm still sore, but it hurts SOOO good.
I do not know where I would have been if it wasn’t for Hovik’s expertise and knowledge in training and nutrition. He helped me LOOSE over 80lbs. Working with Hovik has given me a new lease on life with added energy, enthusiasm, focus and most importantly confidence. Hovo jan thanks for the great workouts...It is so different then my normal routines and I know it is very important to always change up routines to cause muscle confusion....I'd like to think I'm in decent shape but you still find ways to push me beyond what I normally do and I'm glad you put such a big emphasis on properly warming up and a post exercise stretch. You do a great job of challenging me and making my body go through a great/tough workout while always monitoring my form and encouraging me at the same time. You're very knowledgeable when it comes to exercise and nutrition and I really look forward to working out with you. Thanks again.
